Role Summary
Corporate Identity is a critical control point for Sophos, underpinning everything our employees do and serving as a foundation for our certification and compliance programs. We are looking for a technical manager to lead a team of 2-4 Identity SMEs and contribute to our identity strategy and projects. This role is a mix of hands-on technical delivery and team leadership.
What you will do
- Manage a global team of 2-4 Identity Access Management engineers
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Cybersecurity, and other teams to define identity control requirements
- Own the delivery, management, and control of corporate identity, leveraging input from SMEs
- Stay up to date with industry trends in PAM, PIM, and IGA
- Develop and execute an identity roadmap aligned with business needs
- Coach and mentor engineers in both technical and soft skills
- Manage demand using agile methodologies
Skills & Experience
- Stakeholder management, including engagement with C-level executives
- Hands-on experience with OIDC, SCIM, OAuth, PAM, and PIM solutions
- Experience managing Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Active Directory
- Understanding of identity governance and compliance controls
- Desirable: Experience with Saviynt or Sailpoint
- Experience of SOC Type II, ISO and similar controls
