Role Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as the finance lead for Renewal and Customer Success, owning topline and Opex analysis while providing insights into renewal performance, retention trends, and coverage model effectiveness.

This role will partner closely with GTM Finance leadership, Renewal Operations, Customer Success, Sales Leadership, and BI to drive forecasting, identify business risks and opportunities, and improve decision-making through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex data environments, leveraging AI-enabled tools, and translating analysis into actionable recommendations for business leaders.

This position is expected to provide coverage during West Coast working hours.

What You Will Do

  • Own Renewal and Customer Success topline and Opexanalysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Partner with GTM Finance leadership to analyze renewal performance, retention trends, coverage models, and key drivers of forecast changes.
  • Develop deep-dive analyses across customers, regions, products, renewal cohorts, and coverage models toidentifyrisks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
  • Build insights and reporting to improve renewal forecasting, retention visibility, and decision-making.
  • Identifyleading indicators and emerging trends to proactively surface renewal risks.
  • Perform variance analysis across renewal rates, retention, churn, ARR, and forecast performance.
  • Support Renewal and Customer Success forecasting through data analysis, scenario modeling, and risk assessment.
  • Prepare executive-ready analyses for leadership reviews and Board reporting.
  • Partner with Renewal Operations, Customer Success, Sales Operations, and BI to improve data quality, reporting consistency, and metric governance.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders.
  • What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 4-7+ years of experience in FP&A, GTM Finance, or Revenue Finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Comfortable navigating complex, imperfect data environments and solving ambiguous data challenges.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools (e. g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Experience working with large datasets and partnering with Business Intelligence teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e. g., Chat GPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini) to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, automate recurring tasks, and enhance decision-making.
  • Strong curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to embrace new technologies and analytical approaches
  • Self-motivated, deliverable-focused, strong work ethic, enthusiastic and ambitious attitude, able to prioritize and resolve an array of issues simultaneously
  • Desired Skills
  • Experience supporting Saa S or subscription-based businesses.
  • Knowledge of recurring revenue metrics, including ARR, ACV, renewals, churn, GRR, and NRR.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other data querying and automation tools.
  • Experience building automated reporting, dashboards, or AI-enabled analytical workflows.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools (e. g., Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, Clari, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning).

In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $87,000 to $145,000.

In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
