Role Summary

Sophos is adding a Product Marketing Manager to our Product and Solution Marketing team who will support our Security Operations (SecOps) product and service offerings, including Sophos Endpoint, Sophos XDR, and Sophos MDR offerings. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to build and deliver product marketing programs and resources that maximize awareness and understanding of Sophos’ portfolio of SecOps products and services among customers, prospects, and partners.

What You Will Do

  • Messaging and positioning: Create bold, memorable, and consistent positioning statements, messaging, and associated proof points that differentiate Sophos’ offerings in the market.
  • Collateral development: Deliver and maintain marketing collateral for Sophos’ Security Operations products and services that articulate compelling value propositions to customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Product and service launches: Plan and launch new products and services, capabilities, and releases, engaging with cross‑functional teams for launch execution.
  • Go‑to‑marketing strategy: Collaborate with Product Management teams and other internal stakeholders to identify buyer needs and opportunities to drive awareness and adoption of Sophos’ SecOps products and services.
  • Sales enablement: Understand and support our sales channels; train Sales teams and Partners on the problems we solve for our customers and develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Market and competitive intelligence: Maintain knowledge of competitors’ product and services offerings and positioning in the market.
  • Strategic planning: Assist in identifying market opportunities and gaps in offerings to ensure that Sophos products and services remain competitive and differentiated in the marketplace.
  • Measure progress and activities: Assess the effectiveness of Product Marketing initiatives on an ongoing basis, and report on objectives and status to business partners and management.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in security software and/or services, with domain expertise in threat detection and response (e.g., EDR, XDR, etc.) offerings and/or managed services (e.g., MDR, DFIR, MSSP, etc.).
  • Understanding and affinity for technology and ability to learn technical product details.
  • Exceptional written communication and content creation skills; ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling messages.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to deliver presentations that inspire audiences with varied technical expertise.
  • Intellectual curiosity, creativity and a well‑rounded understanding of marketing strategies and tactics (content creation, social media, PR, SEO, etc.).
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and comfort with high‑visibility initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, managing resources and several projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking, and the ability to turn vision into structured plans and actions.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and organizational skills.
