We are looking for a Regional Nurse Manager with a strong background in Learning Disability and Autism (LDA) to oversee a caseload of complex care clients across Dorset and Cornwall. This full-time permanent role is a unique opportunity to join a values-driven organisation that prioritises quality, compassion, and person-centred care.
You’ll manage a small, focused caseload (maximum 10 caseloads) allowing you to build deep relationships with service users and truly understand their needs. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values clinical excellence, autonomy, and empathy.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct & review comprehensive care planning and risk assessments, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Partake in mobilisation, delivery, and quality assurance of complex care packages.
- Manage your diary flexibly to meet the needs of your caseload – this is not a 9–5 role, there will be occasions where you will be in the field out of hours to sign off or supervise staff.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure staffing, training, and compliance.
- Support recruitment and development of a skilled complex care workforce.
- Handle challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- Partake in out of hours on-call (on rotation).
What You’ll Bring:
- Registered Nurse and minimum 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Manager.
- At least 1 year of experience working with Learning Disability and Autism clients.
- Background in Complex Care Nursing, ideally in community settings.
- Strong conflict resolution, time management, and decision-making skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
