A creative Social Media & Content creator - we are casting a wide net and open to meeting people with different stages of experience as either a supported co-ordinator or a more independent manager. The role will be to develop and execute our online content strategy. You will be responsible for creating engaging, on-brand content with Sophia’s personality and creativity at its heart, as well as managing our social media channels to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and ultimately support the brand’s business objectives.
Available to work from SWHQ or other London location 5 days per week, as well as travelling for shoots when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and/or contribute to Strategy: Develop and/or contribute to, and implement comprehensive social media and content strategies aligned with company goals and brand identity.
- Content Creation: Plan, create, edit, and publish high-quality, engaging content (including text, images, graphics, and short-form video) across various platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Channel Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of all social media accounts, including scheduling posts using tools like Dash Hudson, and ensuring brand consistency.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and feedback in a professional manner, fostering a positive online community.
- Influencer Partnerships: Cultivate and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and external partners.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, web traffic, and conversions using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite), and use these insights to refine strategies.
- Campaign Management: Plan and launch specific campaigns, promotions, and competitions to attract new audiences and generate leads.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider marketing team, designers, and external stakeholders (e.g., influencers, agencies) to ensure a cohesive and effective digital presence.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to keep our content fresh and competitive.
- Proven experience in business social media channels and creating digital content (1-2 years at junior level, 4-5 at more senior level).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and editing abilities and impeccable attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of all major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Proficiency with design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut).
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- A creative mindset, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines is a plus, if not this can be something to work towards in the role.
