Audit Junior

We are expanding, which means we are looking for an Audit Junior who may have recently finished their degree in either Accounting and Finance, Economics or a related field. This role is ideal for someone who aspires to learn and progress in the Audit and Accounts field as well as study towards ACA/ACCA, with a fully funded study package (including time off to attend courses and exams). The duties will involve providing accurate accounting and assurance services to a diverse range of clients, as directed by the Manager, within budget and in accordance with firm procedures. This is a great opportunity to work with an incredibly broad range of clients.

• Assisting with accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders and Partnerships
• Analysing data to form the basis of the accounts
• Completing assigned audit areas to a high standard as directed by senior members of staff
• Ensuring all client work is completed within applicable reporting deadlines and client requests
• Ensuring all jobs are completed within specific budgets, keeping Manager informed at all times of progress of job
• Assisting with ad‑hoc duties as and when required

About You

You will be confident in working to a high standard, have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to your work. Additionally, we’d like you to have/be:

• Competent using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Outstanding time‑management skills and ability to prioritise work
• Excellent work ethics and eagerness to learn
• Great attention to detail and organisational skills
