We’re on the lookout for a friendly, down-to-earth person to join our small coffee shop team here at Sopha. This is a part-time, permanent role covering Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, plus every other Saturday. Hours: 9:45am – 4:45pm. Extra hours may be available now and then to cover holidays etc.

What does the role involve?

You’ll help with pretty much everything that keeps our lovely coffee shop ticking over — from setting up in the morning, making drinks and light bites, to tidying down at the end of the day. You’ll often be running the coffee shop on your own (with backup nearby from Emily and the rest of the Sopha team as and when you need it).

  • Enjoys meeting and chatting with people
  • Happy working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team
  • Has some experience in (or is keen to learn) food & drink prep
  • Takes pride in delivering great service and helping people feel at home
