We’re looking for a
Development Assistant Producer to join our busy development team.
You’ll be part of the creative engine — contributing ideas, shaping formats, and helping to bring pitches to life.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in development, work across a variety of projects, and help us craft the next big unscripted hit.
This role is based in our Belfast office and will require you to work on-site.
What you'll do
- Contribute fresh, exciting ideas and help shape them into strong formats.
- Write clear, engaging treatments, one-pagers, and pitch documents.
- Support the team in creating visual and video materials for pitches.
- Research talent, trends, and international formats to strengthen development.
- Play an active role in brainstorms and team discussions.
- Stay up to date with the UK and international unscripted TV/Streamer landscape.
What you have
- A creative, proactive mindset with the confidence to share ideas.
- A genuine passion for unscripted television/content, from entertainment juggernauts to innovative new concepts.
- Previous experience in development and/or production within unscripted TV.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong research ability and attention to detail.
- Editing skills (Premiere or similar) are desirable but not essential.
- Design skills (Photoshop, Canva, Power Point/Keynote) are desirable but not essential.
- Experience operating a camera is desirable but not essential.
