Assistant Manager - Planning & Controlling

We are seeing an Assistant Manager - Planning & Controlling to lead financial reporting for certain areas within Sony Europe's Service & Logistics department, ensuring accurate financial data and efficient financial processes.

You will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and act as a trustworthy business partner towards all stakeholders based on a strong knowledge of the business and the financial processes.

You should be someone who is a team player, who is highly communicative and an exceptional collaborator.

Joining a supportive team in our Planning and Controlling department, you will have the opportunity to partner with a variety of business groups, cultures, countries and diverse group of colleagues, and hold a high profile position within our sales operations.

As such you should be a confident relationship builder, and someone who prides themselves on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • You will
  • Prepare timely the monthly financial & operational dashboards and reports.
  • Liaise with the departmental management about the planning and forecast, as well as the analysis of the monthly results compared to budget and forecast and advise them on potential cost improvement actions.
  • Play a key role in the yearly budget and monthly forecast process.
  • Be the first point of contact for financial matters and liaise with other financial experts if necessary.
  • Prepare and coordinate the monthly review meetings with management to explain the financial numbers.
  • Perform financial analyses to support management decision making.
  • Contribute to projects based on financial expertise.
