You will be responsible for one of Sony’s most successful and exciting product groups – Headphones – where you will maximise sales, profit, brand awareness and purchase consideration in the UK & Ireland. Working closely with the Category Marketing Head, you’ll use your analytical skills to set annual budgets and forecasts, and from there you’ll brief and motivate sales and brand activation teams to implement category plans, using data‑driven insights to adapt strategies that fit the local market.
Responsibilities
- Execute Pan‑European Product Marketing and Pricing strategies for the territory.
- Set yearly budgets and produce monthly sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing colleagues to optimise product ranges by channel.
- Drive product launches in the territory.
- Analyse market, competitors, consumers and sales performance.
- Carry out monthly reporting of product group performance.
- Develop marketing initiatives/promotions by channel and execute with Key Account Managers and Brand Activation department.
- Brief marketing assets to support promotions and product launches.
- Guide and support KAMs, CMMs and BAs to deliver best‑in‑class in‑store displays and online execution.
- Inform stakeholders of pricing, promotions, product information, supply and distribution strategies.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations.
Qualifications
- Background in product management within a consumer products industry.
- Commercial understanding with experience in consumer marketing; ability to present compelling ideas to all audiences.
- Excellent analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial and highly professional.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
