The Direct to Consumer (D2C) Data Science organisation comprises Data Science, Data Engineering and ML Engineering practices. D2C Data Science helps PlayStation grow and operate its digital business across commerce, subscriptions, payments, lifecycle experiences and player-facing services. We partner with product, engineering, finance, marketing and operations teams to turn experimentation, forecasting, AI and production‑quality measurement into better experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Program & Delivery Execution: Support planning & execution of data science and AI initiatives, ensuring timelines, milestones and dependencies are clearly defined and tracked. Maintain program plans, delivery artefacts and status reporting to support transparency and predictable execution. Coordinate across Business, Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to help unblock issues and keep initiatives moving forward. Track risks, issues and decisions, escalating appropriately and proposing mitigation options. Use data, create dashboards and leverage AI Agents to monitor delivery progress, operational health, adoption and impact of initiatives. Perform ad‑hoc and recurring data analysis to support prioritization, in‑life monitoring, and performance reviews.
- Technical Coordination: Partner with technical teams to understand solution scope, technical dependencies and constraints. Help translate high‑level initiative goals into actionable workstreams and execution plans. Support alignment on technical readiness activities such as data availability, tooling access, environment setup, and process prerequisites.
- Enablement Operations: Support planning rituals and operating cadences (e.g. intake, prioritization, planning, reviews). Contribute to development of artefacts that support solution rollout, adoption and readiness. Build, maintain and iterate on operational and performance dashboards, primarily using Domo. Contribute to new ways of consuming data such as AI Agent interfaces by building domain expertise to enhance agent context and coordinating the availability of new data sources. Partner with stakeholders to define metrics, ensure data quality and establish trusted reporting views. Translate ambiguous questions into clear metrics and visualizations that support decision‑making.
- Stakeholder Support: Act as reliable coordination for stakeholders ensuring clarity on scope timelines, and next steps. Prepare clear, concise updates and materials for reviews, planning sessions and retrospectives. Support senior team members in driving alignment across technical and business partners.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years (or equivalent) experience in a technical programme / project or delivery coordination role.
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis using SQL - including ability to write, debug and optimize queries across large datasets.
- Experience working with technical teams - Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, or similar.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Clear written & verbal communication, ability to convey technical concepts at an appropriate level.
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining dashboards and data visualizations, with a focus on clarity, usability and business relevance.
- Comfort working with technical artefacts such as requirements, delivery plans, backlogs and analytical outputs.
Desirable:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
