Role Overview: New Model Introduction are looking for a Test Engineer to join the dynamic team. The role will focus on the development of manufacturing test systems whilst working in a challenging and varied, multi-disciplinary environment with cutting edge technologies. Being a Test Engineer will involve using your imagination, innovation, creativity and successfully working within a team to introduce new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design test systems to specification
- Schedule workload to deliver test system
- Providing input during DFM (Design for Manufacture) evaluations
- Analytical analysis (& presentation) of test data
- Study of Product Operation
- Build and introduce test system into production
- Produce Jig handover document
- Train production Technicians
- Communicate with designer on technical issues
- Lead Engineering Team for New Model/ Projects
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant degree in electronics/electrical engineering.
- Able to work as part of a dedicated team with strong communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
- Able to work autonomously where required.
- Self-motivated.
- Innovative and creative with a passion for continuous improvement.
Desirable Criteria:
- High Level Programming Languages C, C++.
- Working with embedded microcontrollers
- Communication Protocols (e.g. RS-232, RS-422, TCP, CAN, MODBUS, I2C)
- Basic Networking Knowledge
- Electronic circuit design knowledge / PWB Design
