As the Technical Project Manager within Data Science Enablement you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of data science and AI initiatives that help the Decision Science organization deliver measurable data science, machine learning and AI impacts more effectively. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role focused on programme planning, dependency management, stakeholder coordination, reporting and delivery execution. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex initiatives, working with technical teams and using data to support decision‑making. You will work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Enablement Specialists and business stakeholders to help ensure projects are well‑defined, dependencies are understood and delivery progresses smoothly. Partnering with the D2C Data Solutions team, you will support the development and maintenance of operational dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into programme delivery, adoption and business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivery Execution
    • Support planning & execution of data science and AI initiatives, ensuring timelines, milestones and dependencies are clearly defined and tracked.
    • Maintain program plans, delivery artefacts and status reporting to support transparency and predictable execution.
    • Coordinate across Business, Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to help unblock issues and keep initiatives moving forward.
    • Track risks, issues and decisions, escalating appropriately and proposing mitigation options.
    • Create dashboards and reporting to monitor delivery progress, operational health and adoption.
    • Perform ad‑hoc and recurring data analysis & visualizations to support prioritisation, in‑life monitoring and performance reviews.
  • Technical Coordination
    • Partner with technical teams to understand solution scope, dependencies and constraints.
    • Help translate initiative goals into actionable workstreams and execution plans.
    • Support technical readiness activities including data availability, tooling access and process prerequisites.
  • Enablement Operations
    • Support team operating cadences including intake, prioritisation, planning and review processes.
    • Contribute to rollout, adoption and readiness activities for new solutions.
    • Build and maintain operational dashboards, primarily using Domo.
    • Support the availability and governance of reporting data sources.
    • Partner with stakeholders to define metrics and establish trusted reporting views.
    • Translate business questions into clear metrics, dashboards and visualisations.
  • Stakeholder Support
    • Provide day‑to‑day programme coordination and communication across stakeholders.
    • Prepare concise updates and materials for planning sessions, reviews and retrospectives.
    • Support senior team members in driving alignment across technical and business teams.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years (or equivalent) experience in a technical project, programme and/or delivery coordination role.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis using SQL – including ability to write, debug and optimise queries across large datasets.
  • Experience working with technical teams – Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Clear written & verbal communication, ability to convey technical concepts at an appropriate level.
  • Hands‑on experience building and maintaining dashboards and data visualisations, with a focus on clarity, usability and business relevance.
  • Comfort working with technical artefacts such as requirements, delivery plans, backlogs and analytical outputs.

Desirable

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for technology enablement and organisational impact.
