Role Overview

The Senior Program Manager, Diversity & Belonging is a strategic, enterprise-level role responsible for designing, executing, and evolving the company’s community-based learning ecosystem. This role owns the end‑to‑end global strategy for community-based learning experiences including mentoring, sponsorship, peer coaching, and other relationship‑based development experiences, ensuring they are scalable, accessible, and aligned to a broader shift from traditional DEI programs toward strengthening Belonging for all employees.

Serving as the Diversity & Belonging consultant partnering closely with Legal, People Experience (PEx), Employee Relations (ER) to diagnose the critical needs and co‑create solutions to provide practical guidance on topics including neurodiversity, mental health, wellbeing, accessibility, and belonging in the workplace. This role operates with significant autonomy, implements enterprise strategy, and is accountable for outcomes that materially impact employee experience, leadership capability, and organizational culture.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Community‑Based Learning Strategy & Execution
    • Own the enterprise community‑based learning strategy, including mentoring, sponsorship, peer coaching, flash mentoring, virtual “water cooler” moments, and cultural awareness connections.
    • Translate the Diversity & Belonging strategy into practical, scalable learning experiences that build connection, access, and capability across the organization.
    • Develop and maintain clear onboarding and offboarding guidance for all community‑based learning programs, in partnership with the platform vendor.
    • Ensure programs are designed with the pillars of belonging – access, respectful space, community & connection – at the core.
    • Define success metrics, report on program impact, and continuously evolve programs based on data and participant feedback.
  • MentorcliQ Platform Ownership
    • Serve as the global MentorcliQ Platform Owner with accountability for governance, strategy alignment, and platform health.
    • Oversee the full mentoring platform environment, ensuring all programs and configurations align with organizational goals and the Diversity & Belonging strategy.
    • Act as the final decision‑maker for platform‑wide changes (e.g., branding updates, feature enablement, add‑ons such as mobile app, chat, or MentorLab).
    • Establish and enforce governance standards for new program intake and approval.
    • Maintain visibility into all community‑based learning programs, participants, timelines, and administrators.
    • Approve and manage admin access; support Program Admins with escalated platform issues.
    • Partner with MentorcliQ and internal IT on updates, feature releases, and integrations.
    • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and annual planning to assess ROI, usage, and strategic alignment.
  • EMEA‑Based Diversity & Belonging Consultant & Advisory
    • Conduct listening sessions to understand the critical needs in our EMEA region around Diversity & Belonging, and partner to co‑create solutions to address and improve employee experience related to sensitive diversity‑related matters.
    • Act as an advisory and thought partner to Legal, ER, PEx consultants, and HRBPs on EMEA‑specific diversity related legislation, policy interpretation, sensitive diversity‑related topics.
    • Provide guidance on sensitive diversity‑related topics including (but not limited to): Neurodiversity, mental health, and wellbeing, Accessibility and accommodation, Inclusive work practices.
    • Translate complex legal or policy requirements into practical, human‑centered guidance for internal partners.
    • Monitor external trends, legislation, and best practices to proactively inform internal strategy and tactics.

  • Staff/Senior Level Leads large, complex programs with enterprise‑wide impact and high visibility.
  • Operates with minimal oversight, setting direction and making decisions that influence organizational outcomes.
  • Frequently contributes to the development of new frameworks, approaches, and ways of working rather than executing predefined solutions.
  • Influences key stakeholders across functions and regions without direct authority.
  • Is accountable for results that directly support business priorities and cultural transformation.

    • Experience owning mentoring platforms with enterprise governance responsibility.
  • Consulting & Advisory
    • Credibility in diagnosing needs and advising on sensitive diversity‑related topics such as neurodiversity, accessibility, and mental health, and educating key stakeholders, leaders, and managers as needed to address bias related these topics.
    • Deep capability to consult on sensitive diversity‑related topics, e.g., neurodiversity, mental health/wellbeing, accessibility.
    • Comfort advising key stakeholders through ambiguity related to sensitive diversity‑related topics.
    • Ability to translate strategy into clear, practical guidance.
  • Diversity & Belonging Domain Expertise
    • Strong domain expertise in Diversity & Belonging with applied experience in workplace settings.
    • Knowledge of UK equality and diversity legislation including the Equality Act 2010 across all the equivalents in Europe.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Ability to partner, influence, and manage stakeholder expectations with Legal, HR, IT, vendors, and senior leadership.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, platform skills and group facilitation.
    • Skilled at synthesizing data, insights, and employee sentiment to demonstrate impact.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Comfortable managing governance, metrics, and continuous improvement cycles.
    • Detail‑oriented while maintaining a strategic lens.
    • Experience partnering with external vendors and managing ongoing relationships.

Experience & Background

  • Significant experience (typically 12+ years) in DEI and learning and development consulting and program management roles.
  • Demonstrated success operating at a senior manager or equivalent level with enterprise scope.
  • Experience working in both UK‑based organizations, and global companies.
  • Candidate needs to understand the UK landscape and think about the global nature of our business.
