Role Overview: The Senior, Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for building and leading brand marketing for multiple high‑profile game franchises. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of a portfolio of PlayStation Studios games. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and management of holistic global marketing plans that drive growth and profitability for our games. The role involves creating plans that drive acquisition of new players, engagement and retention of existing players, and re‑engagement and reclamation of previous players.
Candidates for this role will be self‑starters with strong experience in marketing games, live‑service products, and new business models. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of creativity and analytical thought to drive product strategy and year‑round marketing plans to keep players constantly engaged.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Marketing Strategy: Set overall marketing strategy for entire lifecycle of products – from greenlight to launch campaign to post‑launch marketing plans and operations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, across SIE and Sony, to deliver best‑in‑class marketing campaign tactics. Work closely with consumer insights, analytics and community management teams to assess player needs/behaviours to better define product strategy and pivot ongoing marketing tactics. Drive holistic franchise management, marketing revenue opportunities outside of game launches.
- Budgeting: Manage annual title marketing budgets.
- Team Management: Lead individuals in creating and executing the best solutions for the business, partners and consumers.
- Studio Partnership: Partner with studio leadership to deliver on overall business goals for each game.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of video game product marketing experience, with a focus on live services and AAA game marketing.
- Marketing degree or equivalent – Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Live services experience, can include products with continuous revenue models and constantly updated content offerings.
- Expertise in assessing and building new business models with players in mind.
- Ability to make data‑driven marketing decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a persistent attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Proven expertise in the planning, execution and leadership of business plans.
- Bi‑lingual fluency in English and Japanese.

This role may also be eligible for a bonus package. This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below. $167,200 — $301,000 USD.
