The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 Β£ per year.

The TV Distribution Sales Planning team is responsible for setting and delivering our product distribution strategy, supporting negotiations and delivering the end-to-end sales process. This includes franchise planning, managing product availabilities and rights, negotiation and pricing support, contract review and execution, and budgeting and forecasting.
What you'll do:
- Learn how to support a simple negotiation from start to finish, from preparing and formatting the list of available titles, building proposal schedules in Excel, updating the internal systems with administrative changes such as adjusting dates or budget numbers, initiating materials delivery and billing procedures, and processing deals from beginning to end.
- Learn how a distribution department operates, and support the team by creating sales history reports and preparing Excel summaries of deals.
- Shadow other teams within the department, spending time with Sales, Commercial Analysis, Marketing, and Research.
- Attend training sessions covering Excel Macros, PowerPoint Essentials, Tableau Essentials, and soft-skills development.
- Expand upon your existing film knowledge by attending internal film screenings and having access to the Sony catalogue.
- Develop AI use cases to improve the department's efficiency.
- Create & present ad hoc presentations to the department, focusing on TV distribution sales and sales planning topics.
- Support the improvement of training materials available for all Sales Planners.
- Create or refresh existing templates to support other Planners with data analysis.
What you have:

- Able to use complex information to provide summaries with clear and meaningful insights.
- Aptitude for working with data tools e.g. Excel, Tableau etc.
- Team player who is willing and able to assist colleagues.
- Proactive and adaptable - anticipate needs in different situations and take appropriate action with guidance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English. Additional European languages are a plus.

Process: This position is due to close on Friday 27th February 2025. The process will involve an assessment centre on Monday 30th March which will be one day at our SPE offices and include multiple activities, including an Excel Test. The successful candidates from this stage will then have a virtual interview before making an offer. Two interns will be hired for this position.
