Physical Operations Manager, Solutions – The Orchard

The Orchard is seeking a Physical Operations Manager to join our dynamic Solutions team in the UK. You will be responsible for the seamless operation of the UK Physical Supply Chain, synthesizing interactions across Orchard internal departments and clients, and our warehousing and fulfillment partner, DP World. This is a highly responsible role that requires working to strict deadlines, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all types of music.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with Orchard stakeholders including but not limited to Solutions Managers, Physical Sales, International Inventory & Supply Chain Management and Relationship teams to ensure all stock delivery requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Support to wider Physical Solutions team, including Manufacturing & D2C Managers, as required
  • Act as the day to day contact for our warehousing and logistics partner, DP World
  • Coordinate new release quantity projections and stock delivery for International clients without dedicated UK Relationship teams
  • Monitor catalogue stock levels in the UK supply chain, advising and organising restocks and destruction of overstocks
  • Organise and monitor International shipments, working with carriers to resolve any logistical issues or customs delays
  • Advise and remind internal and external stakeholders on physical supply chain best practices

Who You Are:

  • Highly organised, bringing a methodical and exacting approach to your work
  • At least 2 years of experience working in physical music distribution
  • A multi-tasker with supreme attention to detail, follow-through and effective prioritization
  • Effective communicator on phone, email, and in person
