As a Senior Brands Manager, the main focus of your role will be developing new revenue streams from brands and agencies in order to generate tangible value back to the business and managing active artist and brand campaigns. You will be an integral part of the UK Brand Partnerships team, responsible for both identifying UK brand partnership opportunities relating to Sony Music artists and activities and delivering against these partnerships from end-to-end. Achieving these objectives will require close collaboration with artists, managers, labels as well as the wider 4th Floor Creative team.
What you'll do:
- Aid the Senior Director and Director in developing and implementing new business strategies, including outreach strategy, contact monitoring systems, research in industry developments and evolving commercial mechanics.
- Play a critical role in building collaborative internal relations with record labels, artists and managers.
- Establish through creative means new opportunities for consumer brands to engage with and invest in Sony artists, Sony repertoire and other forms of Intellectual Property that the business develops.
- As a key member of the Brand Partnerships team, forge relationships with brands and agencies, proactively seeking new opportunities, co‐leading pitch meetings and driving revenue according to both individual and departmental commercial objectives.
- Day‐to‐day project management is critical – you will be responsible for full life cycle of brand partnership projects, from paperwork right through to completion of campaigns, and measurement of results.
- P&L analysis and financial accountability as part of overall deal management.
- Continually maintain and expand departmental relationships with existing clients.
- Develop and deliver presentations to high‐level executives.
- Take meetings and create briefs.
- Progress reporting to Senior Director on a regular basis.
- Attending gigs and other artist / label events as a representative of the team.
- Line management of Brand Partnerships Intern including regular catch‐ups to develop and track progress over the 2026 cohort.
Who you are:
- Must hold a strong contact list of brands and agencies associating yourself with music and more broadly, entertainment.
- Exceptional people skills which to lead project management, both internally and externally.
- Prior experience in a Manager, Brand or Agency role - proven track record in delivering multi‐platform brand partnership campaigns.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- Highly commercial with strong communication / presentation skills.
- A good knowledge of music and popular culture.
- Ability to think laterally and adopt a creative approach to any / every relevant business task.
- Clear ability to problem solve technical, creative and relationship‐based challenges.
- Strong experience selling to brands and agencies in media, music, or entertainment industries.
- Solid understanding of brand marketing challenges, planning and sales cycles and current trends in consumer behaviour.
- Must have strong instincts for new business trends and opportunities.
