With a mission to partner with independent artists to tell stories that shape culture, AWAL’s diverse roster ranges from rising artists to globally renowned acts. As a Marketing Intern, you will join our dynamic team as a key support, gaining hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of music marketing. This role is designed for someone looking to launch their career, where you'll support our marketing and audience development campaigns, contribute fresh perspectives, and learn directly from industry professionals.

Role Overview:

  • Office attendance: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday working from the office
  • Offsite working: Our intern will be actively encouraged to attend as many gigs as possible for content capture and distribution purposes.

What you'll do:

  • Support the UK Marketing team across artist campaigns, learning the end-to-end process of music marketing
  • Assist with administrative support, including managing schedules, coordinating team meetings, tracking action points from meetings, handling logistical arrangements for artist promo days and events
  • Attend gigs, capture content, and create engaging posts for our short-form video platforms
  • Report on current music trends, build audience breakdowns, and track performance spikes across streaming and social media
  • Assist with internal and external events and gig admin including guest lists/ticketing, logistics, and on-site support
  • Create digital assets such as one sheets, mailers, video cutdowns, and event flyers

Process Overview:

Applications open August 10th at 10:00 and close August 24th at 10:00. Candidates whose applications are selected will be invited to complete a video interview between September 28th and October 3rd. Successful applicants will start in January 2027.
