The International Commercial Music Group team coordinates global marketing campaigns across a wide variety of international artists, and we strive to be ahead of the curve by identifying short-term marketing trends. The team represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and skills and we embrace diversity, equal opportunity, and progress in a serious way.

The ideal candidate will join a team of marketing-savvy negotiators who focus on driving global artist campaigns collaborating with creative and marketing teams. You will possess good knowledge of the ever-changing traditional and digital-streaming landscapes, be comfortable working with and interpreting data, be creative and willing to weave innovation into plans, delivering in all these areas with analytical and creative thinking.

This is a rare opportunity to have direct influence on music industry evolution, be involved in strategic recommendations to senior management and partners that benefit Sony Music’s entire artist roster, while closely collaborating with teams across the company and the globe.

Role Overview:

  • Office attendance: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday working from the office
  • Flexibility: Flexibility can be agreed with the line manager
  • Offsite working: There will be potential ad hoc opportunities to work offsite

What you'll do:

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including raising purchase orders, arranging travel, processing expenses, coordinating couriers and mailouts, and supporting day-to-day operations
  • Help organise multi-territory meetings, conferences, and team events
  • Coordinate with creative and marketing teams across multiple territories, scheduling meetings and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Contribute to creative projects by sharing ideas, supporting campaign development, and keeping up to date with digital marketing and streaming trends
  • Support the team with presentations, creative briefs, and other marketing materials
  • Monitor and communicate emerging trending tracks across global streaming platforms, sharing insights with international teams to help maximise marketing opportunities and drive campaign activity
  • Support global artist and catalogue campaigns by analysing performance data, producing campaign reports, and identifying key insights using internal systems and dashboards

Who you are:

Essential:

  • Broad understanding of the music industry and an interest in digital marketing
  • Good working knowledge / experience of TikTok and other social media/short form platforms
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to assist employee queries

Nice to have:

  • Excellent organisation and prioritising skills, with the ability to work independently and use own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail

Process Overview:

Applications open August 10th at 10:00 and close August 24th at 10:00. Candidates whose applications are selected will be invited to complete a video interview between September 28th and October 3rd. Candidates who pass this stage will then be invited to the final stage of the process, an in-person assessment centre in early November. We will send further information on this stage before the date arrives. Successful applicants will start in January 2027.
