Ceremony Of Roses are Sony’s in-house merchandise team who represent and deliver sell-out merch for a host of globally successful artists, telling their stories through compelling creative and quality product. We are a global media, branding, design and events company with a full service music merchandise arm, covering every aspect of merchandise sales, production and distribution worldwide. We are rapidly growing and have an exciting opportunity to join the team!
As the Head of Artist Accounts, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our Account Managers (AMs) to further success. This position will lead a team of professionals to deliver strategic and results-driven partnering solutions for our world’s top artists. This role demands a strategic leader with a keen understanding of the music merchandise industry, an ability to inspire and guide teams, and a commitment to excellence. This is a senior role that reports directly to the MD.
What you'll do:
- Create a supportive leadership environment by listening to Account Managers, educating them, inspiring high performance, and encouraging continuous improvement.
- Set clear expectations and hold AMs accountable for performance, feedback, and professional standards.
- Partner with AMs on key client accounts and represent the organisation in new business, onboarding, and client review settings.
- Use data‑driven insights—historical analysis, customer research, and trend awareness—to set financial goals and maximise revenue across all channels.
- Maintain strong cross‑functional communication across art, production, tour, retail, and ecommerce teams, ensuring smooth information flow and alignment.
- Lead structured team routines, including weekly AM meetings, monthly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and future planning to drive quality control and performance.
- Conduct quarterly inventory reviews and executive‑level business reviews to support cost management, strategic road‑mapping, and long‑term growth.
Who you are:
- Previous proven experience of leading a high performing team.
- Experience in the music merchandising industry is preferred.
- Proven track record of fostering culture, developing and inspiring team members and setting high standards.
- Dynamic and creative problem solver with an expert-level understanding of relevant business practices and track-record of efficiently resolving client issues.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to prepare and confidently present business plans, strategic insights, and deliver difficult news to internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to multi-task, delegate responsibility and tasks while being flexible toward fast-moving project deadlines.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven experience in a role that requires strict confidentiality, outstanding organisational skills, and ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in high pressure situations.
