What you'll do
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver the company's marketing vision and long-term growth strategy.
- Oversee integrated marketing plans across all live events, tours, festivals, experiences, and venue-based properties.
- Establish brand positioning and audience growth strategies across multiple markets.
- Lead annual marketing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Revenue & Ticket Sales
- Drive ticket sales and revenue targets across all events.
- Develop customer acquisition, retention, and re-engagement strategies.
- Optimise marketing spend and ROI through data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with ticketing partners to maximise sales through pricing and promotional strategies.
- Digital Marketing & CRM
- Oversee digital marketing, including paid media, search, social, display, video, influencer, and programmatic campaigns.
- Lead CRM strategy, customer lifecycle marketing, and audience segmentation.
- Grow and monetise first-party data assets.
- Ensure effective use of digital marketing, CRM and audience data tools.
- Oversee external agency relationships.
- Brand & Content
- Define and protect the company's brand identity and positioning.
- Lead content strategy across social media, owned channels, video, creative production, and fan communications.
- Develop compelling campaigns that enhance audience engagement and drive conversion.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all consumer touchpoints.
- Partners with the Live Teams on external brand and partner pitches, contributing marketing insight, creative thinking, and strategic direction throughout the pitch, brainstorming and planning process.
- Audience Insights & Analytics
- Champion a data-led culture across the organisation.
- Utilise customer insights, market research, and audience data to inform strategy.
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks for all marketing activity.
- Regularly evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure RG Live has the required tools, data and reporting capabilities to support audience growth, customer engagement and ticket sales.
- Sponsorship & Commercial Partnerships
- Support commercial teams in developing marketing-led sponsorship opportunities.
- Provide audience and brand insight to strengthen sponsorship proposals and maximise partnership value.
- Collaborate with sponsors to create impactful integrated activations.
- Communications & PR
- Oversee corporate communications, publicity, media relations, and reputation management.
- Lead crisis communications planning and execution where required.
- Act as a senior ambassador for the company with media, partners, and stakeholders.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, manage and inspire the RG Live marketing team.
- Develop talent, succession plans, and future leadership capability.
- Foster collaboration across marketing, event, experiences and finance teams.
- Establish best practices and marketing excellence across the business.
- Serve as a member of the RG Live executive board team.
Who you are
- You are already in a senior Marcoms leadership position in the entertainment or live industry.
- You have a proven track record in live events, entertainment, music, sport, festivals, ticketing, or consumer brands.
- Significant experience managing multi-million-pound marketing budgets.
- Demonstrable success driving revenue growth through integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong expertise in digital performance marketing, CRM, customer analytics, and audience development.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
- Experience delivering measurable results.
- Knowledge of sponsorship and partnership marketing.
- Understanding of ticketing platforms and revenue management.
- Experience within music, live entertainment or experiential sectors.
