What you’ll do
- Cultivate a high-performance agile development team balancing executing new features while maintaining our existing system health.
- Manage a team of full-stack engineers to deliver internal platforms.
- Hold regular 1:1s, mentor engineers, and work with contractors.
- Work with Directors to drive engineering vision.
- Work with product to develop solutions that align with business cases and strategy.
- Constantly improve our platforms.
- Experiment with new technologies and integrate them into our stack when appropriate.
Who you are
- Has experience working in an agile team
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Experience reviewing code changes
- Strong organizational and analytical skills paired with the ability to drive complex projects
- Interested in music and in learning the intricacies of the music business
- Able to influence cross‑functional teams and create a consensus between engineering teams
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Experience with React/frontend JS is a plus
- 2+ years in an engineering management role
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software products
- 5+ years in a scripting language such as Python, PHP, Java Script, etc.
