Ceremony Of Roses are Sony’s in-house merchandise team that manage the merch for a host of artists in many genres. We are rapidly growing and have an exciting opportunity to join the team! We are looking for someone that has a strong passion for music and will thrive in a creative environment in a music merchandising business. By supporting the Touring & Production team, you will encompass a wide variety of tasks interacting with every department across the business, in a very fast-moving environment. This role is a great opportunity to learn all about the Merch business and get involved in some exciting projects. This is a 6 month fixed term contract position.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with both the Touring & Production teams to provide daily admin support
- Raise and manage purchase orders with suppliers and ensure all production costs and related documentation are accurately maintained
- Liaise with suppliers and Finance teams to ensure invoices are correct and issued in a timely manner, with complete reconciliation against PO’s.
- Support internal teams by helping to manage communication with suppliers to ensure samples are submitted in adherence to the project or tour critical path
- Support internal teams by obtaining & sharing sample shipping information from suppliers and tracking deliveries to their end address
- Follow up with suppliers and cross-functional teams on outstanding updates and missing information, supporting the team in delivering against production timelines
- Keep internal trackers and critical paths up to date with latest, accurate information
Who you are:
- A passion for learning more about the music merchandising industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships across the team and actively communicates updates and statuses in a clear way
- Meticulous attention to detail and knows a thing or two about Excel spreadsheets
- Experience of providing administrative support in a fast-paced, reactive business
- Experience of working on different project management systems preferable, able to learn fast
