As a Senior Digital Media Campaign Manager at Sony Music, you will play a key role in getting our artists' music in front of their fans and audiences around the world. Your role covers the planning, setup and delivery of digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as TikTok, Meta, Spotify, and Amazon. This role will sit within a central digital media team, supporting one of our labels as their campaign lead. You will attend their label and marketing meetings, focus on their artists day to day, while collaborating with the central team in terms of best practices and knowledge sharing.
What you’ll do:
- Orchestrate paid media strategies for artists across all funnel stages, covering events like music, tour and merch releases.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of digital media campaigns for your artists. This includes planning, buying and managing ad space, monitoring performance and recommending as well as actioning strategy changes as needed.
- Work closely with label marketing managers, creative leads, other campaign managers and wider central audience development teams (e.g. CRM, creator strategy, analytics and insights).
- Actively communicate platform & industry-related shifts, tactics & learnings to both labels & central teams to keep SME UK’s digital media team delivering best-in-class campaigns.
- Collaborate with the central digital media operations and reporting team to turn insights into action, partner on testing opportunities and adapt to new findings.
- Be the digital media expert in your label, communicate why a campaign or creative worked and lead in terms of innovation, optimisation as well as testing initiatives.
- Proactively present and share successful campaigns and learnings with wider digital media, central and label teams as well as company-wide forums.
Who you are:
- Previous digital media campaign experience and strong technical platform expertise required, with understanding of creative asset and targeting best practices per platform.
- Hands-on experience working with creative teams and deliver results in their language.
- Comfortable navigating performance dashboards and benchmarks. Able to interpret campaign data, explain shifts clearly and recommend data-led optimisations.
- Exceptional project management skills with proactive optimisation mindset. Able to pivot quickly and comfortable working collaboratively across multiple projects.
- Understanding of music business and digital music landscape preferred but not required.
