As the Senior CRM Manager, you will look after a team who are responsible for working closely with our labels at SMEUK to help deliver best-in-class, creative & innovative CRM campaigns for our artists with the aim of engaging artist current fanbases & acquisition of new fans. You will also work closely with our Digital Media, Web Ops, E-Commerce teams. You will also work closely with our Global Product, Design and Engineering team based out of NY who are responsible for providing the tech by which you will deploy campaigns. With this you will actively demonstrate best-in-class campaigns from the UK and provide continual feedback to this group to develop our offering in this space and contribute to the global strategy.
The CRM team is positioned within Sony Music UK's creative & strategy hub, which unites Brand Partnerships, Sync, Visual Creative, Digital and Audience Development (D&AD). The division works with Sony Music UK's iconic labels – including Columbia, RCA, Commercial Group, Ministry of Sound, Relentless – to orchestrate best-in-class activations and amplify artist and brand stories to connect with a global audience.
What you’ll do:
- Design and execute CRM audience strategies for artists and labels, driving fan data acquisition and long-term fan engagement.
- Leverage traditional CRM and emerging technologies incorporating segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and monetisation strategies that align with D2C.
- Build and develop best-in-class, creative and innovative CRM audience campaigns for our Artists & Ecommerce teams.
- Work closely with Product Design & Engineering, Legal, and Digital Audience Development teams to align CRM automation with broader business systems and ensure seamless data flows across platforms.
- Leverage partner tools and emerging innovations to guide our artist campaigns – optimising audience growth and delivering on commercial objectives.
- Champion the use of first-party data to build personalised fan journeys, integrating CRM with e-commerce (Ceremony of Roses), digital media, and insights teams to create seamless cross-channel experiences.
- Set KPIs and goals, provide comprehensive campaign reporting and actionable insights working closely with Digital and Audience Development teams.
Who you are:
- Proven experience in a CRM role, preferably in Music, Entertainment or Media.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Snowflake or similar technologies.
- Experience with third party tools (or similar) such as Movable Ink, Wyng and The Appreciation Engine is desirable.
- Experience with e-commerce stores such as Shopify.
- Knowledge of Data Protection legislation and data management.
- Use of project management tools such as Asana.
- Strong Project management skills, with the ability to manage a team to deliver projects on time.
- A detail-orientated, excellent communicator, and enthusiastic collaborator that works well with team members.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks at once and work to deadlines.
