As a Ticketing Manager at RG Live, you are required to be a strong communicator, with ticketing experience and excellent analytical skills. You are required to be highly motivated and are responsible for the set-up and day-to-day management of ticketing across RG Live’s extensive event portfolio. This role reports to the Senior Ticketing Manager.

What you'll do:

  • Main point person for partner liaison relating to concerts and trails in the UK.
  • Responsible for all accurate instruction and delivery of new event builds and booking processes across various ticketing outlets.
  • Line Manager to Ticketing Coordinator, including setting workload and ensuring targets are met to an impeccable standard.
  • Devising and creating all tool kits and training guides for the department in line with the Senior Ticketing Manager.
  • Guardian to the Ticketing Definitions and Comms process guideline to ensure uniformity in delivery.
  • Maximising ticket sales and revenue through proactive management of inventory.
  • Confirming details of any add-ons and upgrades accurately and finding ways to maximise secondary spend opportunities.
  • Dealing with complex manifests and seating plans up to stadium level.
  • Coordinating on-sale timings.
  • Detailed knowledge of major ticketing platforms and managing allocations across a variety of them.
  • Interfacing between promoters, agents, venues, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Manage relationships with ticketing agents and box offices, focusing on excellent standards of customer service and experience at every touchpoint.
  • Review and manage ticket agent and venue involvement and discrepancies to always ensure accuracy in reporting for stakeholders.
  • Generating scheduled reports for internal (up to board level) and external stakeholders, including drawing relevant YoY and trend comparisons.
  • Regular stakeholder liaison, leading meetings with feedback and insights, building trust and respect for the value that the Ticketing Department can have towards major business decision-making.
  • Keeping a close eye on the finances and using this to influence decisions on where best to allocate time & attention ensuring we are maximizing revenue where possible.
  • Reporting on final sales, providing relevant stats and figures adapted to departmental requirements.
  • Liaising with event managers to provide relevant information and work proactively to identify and solve any issues as they arise.
  • Tracking the latest trends and technology within the ticketing industry.
  • Ensure that all ticketing activity from design to customer service and outbound selling is conducted in line with RG Live standards.
  • Management of on-site box offices at large-scale events and festivals.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours (weekend/evenings/public holidays).

  • Excellent numeracy skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent IT skills including proficiency in using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or above.
  • Excellent literacy skills with a proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues up to Executive board-level.
  • Proactive and demonstrates initiative, drive, and commitment to achieve objectives.
  • Uses interpersonal skills to establish excellent rapport and working relationships.
  • Self-motivated and takes ownership of personal and technical skills development.
  • Well organized and adept at prioritizing workloads.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and work calmly under pressure.

  • Ability to delegate where necessary and step in to manage when required.
  • Excellent customer service skills on the phone and face to face.
  • Previous experience in ticketing with an understanding and enthusiasm for live events.
