As the Diversity & Inclusion coordinator, you will be part of our centralised People Experience (HR) department, working closely with the Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact. The role will help to influence and shape our D&I work, helping us to create an inclusive environment where all employees at Sony Music UK can thrive.
What you'll do:
- Research external developments, analyse company diversity data trends and understand the needs of the business to help provide support for strategic plans across both Diversity and Inclusion and Social Impact.
- Help plan and deliver training programmes and company events for employees and external partners.
- Create content for our internal and external communications channels to inspire and engage our audiences.
- Work with employee resource groups - support bi-monthly meetings, planning and budgeting.
- Administrative support such as minute taking, invoice processing etc for the department.
- Liaise with global D&I (Diversity and Inclusion) team to share best practice and feed local initiatives into global framework.
- Be the point of contact for incoming enquiries from employees, resource groups and external providers.
Who you are:
- Good understanding of diversity and inclusion best practice and barriers faced by unrepresented groups.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people and build strong relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple projects, good time management and organisational skills; administrative and events experience would be beneficial.
- Ability to analyse data, build reporting, and present findings, understanding the bigger picture.
- High level of integrity, able to hold confidential information and show a measured and rational approach to problem solving.
