Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Digital Designer to join our Creative Services team for an initial 6-12 month period. Please note this role has been assessed as Inside IR35, and payment will be processed via PAYE or an umbrella company through our third-party partner.
What you’ll be doing:
- Co‑Lead the day‑to‑day digital design & production tasks of layout, template‑building, edits, and final file prep for PlayStation.com & CRM.
- Define page design and user flows for new & existing pages across the end‑to‑end journey.
- Take direction from other design leads and support and oversee the work of more junior members.
- Collaborate and communicate with design leadership, project managers, and traffic coordinators.
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure the work and production quality meets PlayStation® brand and design standards.
- Present design efforts in front of small groups, over email, and/or through visual presentations to a wide audience of various backgrounds.
- Take initiatives to better understand industry and competitor approaches through in‑store, online, and design publication research.
- Develop Localised artwork for PlayStation.com & CRM.
- Rework game and hardware assets into various banners for PlayStation.com & CRM, to meet the standard requirements for publishing.
- Support updating Marketing brand and technical guidelines.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in digital and production design within a dynamic marketing environment, gained either in‑house or at an agency.
- Strong experience designing web, mobile and CRM layouts in Figma using established design‑system components, with a proven ability to optimize user journeys for clarity, efficiency, and conversion.
- Expert knowledge of Figma & Adobe Creative Cloud & (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Design theory, including layout, color, typography, hierarchy, as well as current design trends.
- Ability to conceptualize in quick, broad strokes and big, creative ways, but able to see ideas through to the last details of file organization and clean‑up, adhering to template specs, proofing content, and spellchecking.
- Experience designing across a wide variety of digital media and formats.
- Ability to follow design instructions and implement style guides.
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast‑paced, and dynamic corporate environment while staying deadline‑focused on multiple projects with composure and ease.
- Flexible, team player, devoid of ego, with enthusiasm for collaboration and a willingness to take direction and offer own insights.
