b Overview /b p As Senior Localisation Quality Engineer, you will blend design-focused product thinking with software engineering to improve localisation readiness early in the product lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with design, engineering, product, and localisation teams to identify risks, build scalable validation tools, and drive faster, smarter delivery. You’ll engage in design reviews using Figma, shape localisation quality standards, and develop AI-enabled solutions that enhance product quality across languages and regions. This role offers impact across design systems and development practices in a globally scalable PlayStation ecosystem. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive compensation /li li performance bonuses /li li comprehensive benefits /li li career growth opportunities /li li inclusive workplace /li li global impact /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Identify localisation risks early in the design phase with cross-functional teams /li li Review Figma designs to improve localisation readiness before implementation /li li Address design risks affecting text expansion, truncation, layout, and locale-aware components /li li Build and improve tools and automation for scalable localisation QA /li li Define best practices to ensure products are localisation-ready from the start /li li Collaborate on design systems, UI patterns, and content structures to reduce downstream issues /li li Set quality expectations and guidelines from design artefacts and product requirements /li li Perform hands-on localisation QA across languages, platforms, and regions /li li Lead and contribute to complex localisation quality initiatives and ongoing testing /li li Develop and refine localisation test strategies (linguistic, functional, visual, i18n) /li li Investigate root causes of localisation issues with cross-functional teams /li li Integrate validation workflows into design, development, and release processes /li li Design and develop software, automation, and internal tools to improve quality /li li Build scalable solutions supporting validation across design, development, and release /li li Contribute to codebases, frameworks, and infrastructure for quality signals /li li Integrate QA workflows into CI/CD where appropriate /li li Reduce manual work and improve workflows with tools and integrations /li li Prototype and test new approaches, measure value, and scale successful solutions /li li Advise and mentor on engineering, automation, localisation, and quality best practices /li li Promote innovation and continuous improvement across teams /li li Act as a bridge across design, engineering, product, and localisation teams /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 5+ years in software engineering, quality engineering, or related roles /li li Strong hands-on software development experience to build tooling and automation /li li Experience with design teams and Figma workflows, reviewing designs and user journeys /li li Experience validating Figma designs for localisation readiness and implementation feasibility /li li Practical understanding of localisation and internationalisation in digital products /li li Experience with multilingual product testing across platforms/regions /li li Strong programming skills (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java) /li li Experience building AI agents, plugins, copilots, or intelligent workflow tools /li li Experience with APIs and system integrations /li li Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence /li li Understanding of Agile product development and cross-functional delivery /li li Excellent written and verbal communication; strong product thinking /li li Comfort operating across design, engineering, product, and localisation domains /li li Self-motivated, adaptable, and fast-paced /li li Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills /li /ul ul li Collaborative /li li Problem-solving /li li Cross-functional communication /li li Figma design systems and workflows /li li Automation and tooling development /li li AI agents/plugins for workflows /li /ul
