SIE is a dynamic technology company, delivering cutting-edge hardware and network services to more than 100 million people and an entertainment leader, home to some of the most beloved and recognizable intellectual properties (IP) in the world.
Role overview: The Senior Inventory Operations Manager, EMEA will be responsible for leading inventory control, reconciliation, and governance activities across SIE’s B2B and D2C (PlayStation Direct - PSD) distribution centre operations in the EMEA region. This role will ensure inventory accuracy, system integrity, audit readiness, and operational control across warehouse and SAP processes, with a strong focus on service excellence, root cause resolution, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Warehouse Operations, Planning, Sales, PlayStation Direct (PSD), Finance Governance, Supply Chain, and external warehouse partners, this role will act as the key escalation point for inventory management matters across the region.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reconciliation across B2B and D2C (PSD) operational locations, working with warehouse partners to identify root causes, resolve discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement.
- Compile and review inventory comparisons across systems, partnering with Planning, Sales, and PSD teams to resolve systematic inventory issues.
- Investigate and process daily iDoc errors, ensuring inventory transactions are corrected accurately and in a timely manner.
- Own end-of-month system-to-system reconciliation activity, ensuring balances are audited, validated, and clearly explained.
- Coordinate monthly physical counts across B2B and PSD operations, ensuring count processes are controlled, documented, and aligned to business requirements.
- Partner with the SIE Finance Governance team to support audit coordination, evidence gathering, inventory controls, and compliance activity.
- Coordinate end-of-year wall-to-wall inventory counts with Warehouse Operations and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for inventory management escalations, ensuring issues are managed with urgency and clear communication.
- Validate warehouse cycle count adjustments and route approvals internally in line with SIE’s Table of Authority.
Key areas of focus:
- Inventory Control & Reconciliation: Maintain strong inventory accuracy across B2B and D2C operations. Oversee daily, monthly, and year-end reconciliation routines. Investigate variances between warehouse systems, SAP, and operational records. Ensure corrective actions are tracked, owned, and completed.
- Warehouse & Systems Governance: Work closely with warehouse partners to ensure inventory processes are followed consistently. Manage iDoc exceptions, SAP inventory transactions, and EDI-related issue resolution. Ensure system data is accurate, timely, and aligned across operational platforms. Support improvements to inventory processes, controls, and reporting.
- Audit, Compliance & Controls: Partner with Finance Governance on inventory audits and control reviews. Coordinate physical counts, cycle counts, and year-end inventory activities. Ensure inventory adjustments are reviewed and approved in line with governance requirements. Maintain clear documentation and evidence for audit and compliance purposes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring inventory issues and lead root cause analysis. Develop improvement actions with Warehouse Operations, Planning, Sales, and PSD teams. Support process standardisation across B2B and D2C inventory operations. Use data and operational insight to improve accuracy, reduce defects, and strengthen service performance.

- 8+ years’ experience in Inventory Management, Inventory Control, Planning, Supply Chain Operations, or a related field.
- Strong experience working with warehouse inventory processes, reconciliation, cycle counts, physical counts, and audit controls.
- Strong SAP experience, with knowledge of iDocs and EDI transactions preferred.
- Good understanding of B2B and D2C distribution centre operations.
- Strong Excel capability, ideally at medium to advanced level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and drive practical solutions.
- Experience working with Finance, Planning, Sales, Warehouse Operations, and external 3PL partners.
- Process improvement or Lean experience preferred.
