Play Station Studios is seeking a General Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be accountable for the overall business strategy and success of the game.

You will make key decisions on strategic, financial, operational, and organizational matters for the game and work to ensure its continued growth and success.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management, and growth of a interactive digital entertainment game, with a main focus on the day-to-day running of the business and support functions but not involving the direct management of the development and production side of the business.

Own end-to-end accountability for the product’s business performance, including financial results, operational outcomes, and long-term sustainability.

Define success metrics, establish clear performance reporting and review rhythms, and translate results and learnings into informed adjustments to strategy, investment, and operating plans.

Ensure close alignment within the studio by building key rituals and working relationships across the wider studio organization, the global publisher, parent company, and central teams.

Develop and manage the annual calendar and rhythm of the business, including strategic planning, financial cycles, key stakeholder communications, and decision forums, while aligning long-term strategy, annual objectives, and project timelines.

Partner with cross-functional leaders from game development and publishing to set a unified vision and mid-term strategy for the game to deliver on the growth ambition of the product.

EXPERIENCE15+ years’ experience in general management, including business strategy, organizational design/transformation, HR, financial management and reporting, facility management.

Multiple years' experience leading a mid-size studio, game, or publisher.• Experience in an Executive Producer or General Manager role for a game is strongly desired.

QUALIFICATIONSProven track record of successfully leading cross-discipline teams in game development and/or publishing A strong connector to be able to understand what drives employees in the studio, resolve conflicts and facilitate difficult discussions at all levels in the organization Ability to navigate the complexities of multiple stakeholders.
