We are seeking a Project and Change Management Specialist to join our Strategy, Planning and Change Management team. In this role, you will focus on managing and coordinating projects and project pipeline for Global Finance and Accounting (GFA) across Europe and North America. Your primary responsibility will be hands‑on project management—driving projects forward, ensuring objectives are met, and facilitating effective communication between business groups. You will play a key role in coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and supporting change initiatives, helping teams embrace and implement planned changes. This role would be ideal for an individual with an interest and a few years of experience in strategy and project management. You will be supported by your manager during your learning curve and encouraged to develop in‑role.
You will:
- Directly support key strategic projects, ensuring objectives are met and that projects are delivered according to defined project guidelines and timelines.
- Coordinate Global Finance and Accounting team members on Sony‑wide projects to keep teams aligned and on track.
- Track project progress, including delivery against timelines, resource allocation, and costs.
- Build relationships with business groups and communicate project updates and changes in a clear, engaging manner to key project stakeholders.
- Create status update reports using Power BI and/or other data analysis tools for management distribution.
- Analyse project reporting to identify key areas of concern or gaps, and present findings to management.
- Review submitted project documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Support adherence to project guidelines and best practices, and coordinate with the Global Process Office as needed.
- Drive the adoption of modern project management tools (such as Microsoft Teams, Asana, or Jira) to enable real‑time communication, document sharing, and task tracking, improving team coordination and reducing delays.
- Support exploring and utilisation of automated reporting and analytics providing instant insights into project progress, resource allocation, and potential risks, allowing for faster decision‑making.
You will bring:
- Relevant University degree or equivalent.
- Experience in complex project management.
- Experience in System Implementation and Finance projects.
- A passion for Projects and Change Management.
- High proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
