From Sony’s European Headquarter you will partner and supervise several European local territory marketing teams of an entire Sony product category. From pricing and P&L, to forecasting and budgeting, your analysis and recommendations will ultimately increase our European business performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to own the business management aspect of the Headphones product categories.

You Will Be responsible for a category and countries in a matrix organisation. Develop and agree on product strategies and action plans in your territory to achieve KPIs in net sales, marginal profit, and inventory forecasting. Analyse numerous data sources to define the ranging, rotation, and sell‑through of key models in your category. Monitor performance and optimise supply chain planning to secure availability and manage inventory risk. Prepare yearly budgets and follow up daily sales development against them. Monitor market trends to control and manage healthy dealer margin. Understand the local dynamics and opportunities in your assigned countries. Influence Sony HQ in Tokyo product planning to bring relevant products to your market. Have a clear view of Sony’s proposition communication both in‑store and online; collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop and execute communication strategies.

You Will Bring Significant business management, product management experience, or similar: from a role where data is used to drive forecasting and financial business decisions. Ability to be highly numerate and logical, able to draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly to all stakeholders. Ability to nurture and build relationships across the organisation by having fantastic communication skills with ability to effectively communicate from senior management to local teams. Proven commercial experience, with the keen tech insight to discern benefits, not just features, in every product and understand key business drivers. A resilient attitude, you always demonstrate a purpose and ownership mindset but manage your own energy well. You’re a team player that integrates with new team members and creates a positive and efficient work environment with team spirit and mutual respect.
