Sony Europe is looking for a strategic, data-driven and credible Category Marketing professional to join our team. You’ll act as the bridge between Marketing and Procurement, combining commercial insight with strategic thinking to shape how we invest efficiently. It’s a true seat at the table.

You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to identify needs, challenge approaches, and build smart, forward-looking category strategies. You’ll influence decisions, cut through complexity, and turn fragmented spend into clear, value-driven plans. Part advisor, part negotiator, part problem-solver, you are the person who makes marketing spend sharper, faster, and more effective.

If you’re commercially minded, confident challenging the status quo, and motivated by creating real impact, not just managing process, Sony Europe is where you can thrive.

You will:

  • Own the strategy, track it, understand it, and act to keep everything on target.
  • Use data (e.g. Power BI, Rosslyn) to stay ahead of risks and opportunities, stepping in early to course correct.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for spend; review approvals daily, and confidently challenge or reject anything outside policy, strategy, or good practice.
  • Share clear, actionable insights with stakeholders and use feedback to continuously improve.

You will bring:

  • Extensive demonstrable experience.
