Role Overview
The Production Operation Division is currently recruiting for a team leader to support the continued growth of this business. The ideal candidate will be able to manage day to day operational activities and demonstrate effective communication skills. They will need to work closely with team members to fulfil all customer expectations and to achieve delivery of the agreed targets. They must be able to ensure safe working practices are adhered to, high quality and 5S standards are achieved, and company values and behaviours are promoted through leading by example.
Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinating relevant Production activities to fulfil daily and weekly objectives.
- Supporting the team members and ensuring that they have the tools and resources to carry out their roles efficiently and effectively.
- Develop cross functionality throughout the team by devising plans and conducting appropriate training.
- Understanding the Operational KPIs and their contribution in achieving key metrics for the department.
- Upholding 5S standards and controls; motivating and inspiring the shift team to follow.
- Ensuring that any Quality or Production concerns are escalated to the Line Manager.
