Join Sony Europe in a pivotal role shaping how we invest and optimize media across Europe. Lead the strategic governance of category media investments across our European markets, driving alignment and performance consistency across central campaigns, local markets, D2C and retail media. You'll establish KPI frameworks, resolve inefficiencies across fragmented media activities, and ensure investments deliver measurable business impact.
Working with our European market teams, media agencies, D2C partners and Amazon, you'll translate category priorities into cohesive media strategies while maximizing effectiveness and operational efficiency. Through quarterly governance cycles and cross-market reviews, you'll strengthen accountability and collaboration while identifying optimization opportunities that drive category growth.
This is a strategic role requiring strong analytical capability and media expertise—ideal for someone ready to bring order, insight and performance discipline to a complex, multi-stakeholder media landscape. You will have one direct report to support you in your plans and activities.
You will:
- Media Strategy & Investment Governance: Lead strategic alignment and governance of media investments across European markets, establishing frameworks and identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Cross-Channel Media Alignment: Oversee coordination of media activities across all channels, resolving duplication and inefficiencies while ensuring alignment with category priorities and commercial objectives.
- Local Market Media Governance: Lead quarterly media reviews with European market teams, guiding on planning alignment and KPI management while driving consistency in best practices.
- Performance, Analytics & KPI Leadership: Drive performance-oriented media management by monitoring investment effectiveness and leveraging data insights to optimize strategic decisions and recommendations.
- Agency & Platform Leadership: Collaborate with media agencies and external partners to enhance planning quality, operational efficiency and performance outcomes.
- Media Operations & Reporting: Oversee media reporting operations, data quality and analytics coordination to ensure timely, accurate visibility of media performance across the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across marketing, strategy, digital and regional teams to ensure media investments align with business objectives and support insight-led decision-making.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in paid media, media strategy or integrated media planning for consumer industries.
- Experience optimising mid-to-large scale media investments across multiple European markets.
- Ability to operate independently and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience leading media planning and governance processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
