Use your knowledge in commercial and marketing strategy and a proactive approach to implement the best commercial and marketing strategy for Sony's Digital Imaging products, owning the entire product lifecycle for your product portfolio. You will be responsible for Sony’s Cameras product group, maximizing sales, profit, brand awareness and purchase consideration in the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Category Marketing Head to develop annual marketing plans that align with Pan‑European Product Marketing and Pricing strategies for the territory.
- Set annual budgets and produce monthly sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing colleagues to optimise product ranges by channel and drive best‑in‑class product launches.
- Analyse market, competitors, consumers and sales performance for the product group.
- Produce monthly performance reports.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives and promotions by channel in collaboration with Key Account Managers and Brand Activation team.
- Brief marketing assets to support promotions and launches.
- Guide KAMs, CMMs and BAs in in‑store and online execution.
- Inform stakeholders of pricing, promotions, supply and distribution strategies.
- Prepare and deliver engaging presentations.
Qualifications
- Background in product management within the consumer products industry.
- Good commercial understanding across consumer marketing and the ability to present compelling ideas to diverse audiences.
- Excellent analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial and highly professional attitude.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
