Senior Analyst for Digital Imaging Product Planning
As our Senior Analyst for Digital Imaging Product Planning you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reporting and insights to stakeholders across Sony Europe and Tokyo HQ, specifically within our IP&S Pan-European Product Marketing team.
Your aim will be to provide senior management with clear visibility of business performance, sales achievement, and forecast accuracy, enabling informed and timely decision‑making.
Combining strong analytical, technical, and commercial skills, you will also support the development of reporting solutions, process improvements, and automation to help the business operate efficiently and with greater insight.
You should be someone who looks beyond the initial request from the business, developing robust and scalable solutions to data needs and challenges, while remaining firmly focused on the commercial matter at hand.
You will
- Lead Business Planning reporting and data management
- Develop reporting solutions based on business requirements
- Use the company’s data architecture to provide consistent, accurate, and reliable business information & insight
- Review reports that are created by other teams to ensure quality and business requirements are met
- Provide support to internal & external teams for any data, reporting or tool‑related queries
- Data analysis & management reporting
- Lead weekly and monthly management reporting, including clear executive summaries for senior stakeholders
- Supporting ad‑hoc business analysis requirements
- In‑depth analysis of market performance data and validating future forecast predictions
- Close communication with internal/external teams to understand overall business situation and key topics of concern
You will bring
- An ambitious & disciplined business analyst with a good understanding of key business KPIs
- Strong commercial instinct – you connect analytical findings to the broader business context, identifying opportunities and risks that others may overlook
- Highly numerate and analytical, commercially astute
- Expert user of Excel & Power BI, with competency in Power Query & DAX
- Knowledge of other data analysis and manipulation tools (e. g. SQL, Python etc.) would be advantageous
- Experience with organisational data architecture (e. g. Databricks/SAP BW etc.)
- Skilled in developing effective data visualisations and storytelling through Business Intelligence tools
- Excellent organisational & time management skills with ability to successfully manage and prioritise numerous time pressured analytical activities, and lead people in‑directly with projects.
