We are seeking an Analog LSI Sales Manager for our Semiconductor product categories. Device Sales and Marketing Europe (DSME) is a division of Sony Semiconductor Solutions Europe and is responsible for ALSI products sales to B2B customers in Europe. As a leading company, we offer cutting-edge technology to our customers and are the link between the headquarters in Japan and our customers.
You will be working alongside the European Product Marketing teams, Field Application Engineers and other internal stakeholders across Europe and Japan. Your aim will be to acquire new customers and maximise sales amount and profit for our Semiconductor products: Tuner LSI, Audio Noise Cancelling LSI, Laser diode (VCSEL), mmWave Module, and Energy Harvesting Solution.
You will work in an international team, daily collaborating with Sony Sales, Operations and Application Teams in Europe and our colleagues in Sony\’s Japanese HQ. Together, you will lead ambitious sales growth for the next years, by creating and improving Sony\’s sales strategy. The position is based out of our UK Headquarters in Weybridge, and you will need to be prepared to sometimes travel within the EU to visit customers and internal stakeholders.
You will:
- Create and implement sales strategies into existing channels and identify opportunities for new business development;
- Support the product marketing to propose, influence and negotiate the commercial conditions needed to secure the design of current and future products with key customers;
- Manage the day-to-day sales activities through the product life cycle (from technology incubation, design win, to mass production and end of life) whilst ensuring the KPI\’s are met;
- Evaluate and report on the customers, the future sales trends and competitor horizon;
- Support the process of setting and executing mid-range plans, sales and purchase budgets, monitoring the business progress against these objectives, identifying the potential gaps, risks and opportunities.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters;
- Collaborate with other internal Sony group functions to identify and grow opportunities;
- Support local operations (demand planners) and HQ (Japan) teams with the monthly demand planning process.
You will have:
- Engineering and/or Business University degree
- Relevant experience in Semiconductor industry
- Strong logically approach to communicating, influencing and negotiating
- High Proactivity and thinking out-of-the box
- Familiarity with number analysis and Excel
- Availability to travel within Europe and Japan
