Part-Time Administrative & Accounts Assistant at Sontronics Microphones, part of Omnisonic International Limited, in Poole, Dorset, United Kingdom. This is a part-time position (16-20 hours per week).
Are you a highly organized administrator with strong accounting skills and experience using Xero? Do you enjoy variety in your work and take pride in keeping an office running efficiently? This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a respected British audio brand, supporting both the smooth day-to-day running of the office and the financial administration of the business.
Working closely with the Group Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring our office remains organized while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting processes.

The Role
This is a varied position that combines:
- Office administration
- Accounts support
- Financial record keeping
Key Responsibilities
Administration
- Managing emails, phone calls, letters and customer enquiries
- Maintaining CRM and inventory systems (Unleashed and Prospect)
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Supporting meetings with agendas, minutes and follow-up actions
- Ordering office and warehouse supplies
- Preparing and booking shipments via Royal Mail, DHL, and other couriers
- Preparing shipping quotations when required
Accounts
- Processing invoices, payments and expenses
- Maintaining accurate ledgers and financial records
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing basic financial reports
- Assisting with VAT returns and tax documentation
- Responding to supplier and client payment queries
- Supporting month‑end, year‑end and audit processes
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong working knowledge of Xero accounting software
- Previous experience in both administration and accounts support
- Excellent organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong numerical accuracy
- Good Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Professional communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Experience in a product‑based or distribution business
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics coordination
