As Boots Hearingcare continues to grow, we're looking for someone to help us make better use of technology and data across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you'll lead our Data & Development team, oversee our in-house systems and look for practical ways to improve how we work through data, AI and automation.
You'll also coordinate our local information-security requirements, working with Sonova's central security team to ensure the right controls and processes are in place for Boots Hearingcare.
This is a varied leadership role where you'll work closely with teams across the business, understand the challenges they face and help turn their needs into practical technology solutions.
The role As Data, Development & Information Security Manager, you'll lead the team responsible for our data services, in-house web systems and web development activity.
You'll work closely with leaders and teams across the business to understand operational challenges, identify technology-led solutions and oversee their delivery from initial concept through to implementation and continuous improvement.
You'll: Lead and develop the Data & Development team, setting clear priorities.
Oversee the delivery and improvement of in-house web applications and business-critical systems.
Manage the development roadmap, focusing resources on the areas that deliver the greatest value.
Improve how data is managed, accessed and used across the business.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI, automation and data.
Turn business needs into clear technical requirements and delivery plans.
Maintain effective development, testing and quality standards.
Coordinate local information-security requirements within Sonova's global framework.
Support compliance, audits, risk reporting and incident management.
Provide senior leaders with clear updates on delivery, performance and technology risks.
Build strong relationships across Boots Hearingcare, Sonova and external partners.

You'll bring: Experience leading a data, software development, web development or multidisciplinary technology team.
Experience overseeing the delivery and ongoing improvement of business-critical applications or web-based systems.
A strong understanding of software-development planning, testing, release management and quality assurance.
Experience improving how an organisation collects, manages, provisions or uses data.
Evidence of delivering AI, automation, data or digital-improvement initiatives with measurable business benefits.
The ability to translate operational challenges into practical technology solutions and delivery plans.
Experience managing competing priorities, technical resources and development roadmaps.
An understanding of information-security governance, data protection and secure development principles.
Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical subjects clearly and influence at all levels.
Proven people-leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical colleagues.
Experience working within a regulated organisation or alongside a group-level information-security function would be advantageous.
