Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation, you'll lead our Information Security governance alongside our Data & Development function, ensuring our systems remain secure, compliant and fit for the future while driving innovation across the business.

The role

As Info Sec, Data & Development Manager, you'll be responsible for leading Boots Hearingcare's Information Security governance whilst managing our Data & Development team, ensuring we continue to deliver secure, innovative and reliable technology solutions that support colleagues and customers alike.

You'll

  • Lead Boots Hearingcare's Information Security governance framework, ensuring compliance with ISO27001, GDPR, PCI DSS and other regulatory standards.
  • Drive a proactive approach to cyber security, risk management, audits, vulnerability management and incident response.
  • Lead and develop the Data & Development team responsible for in-house web systems, development planning, testing and data provisioning.
  • Champion secure software development practices and embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and data engineering to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Produce governance reporting, risk updates and security metrics for senior leadership.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, working closely with IT, external partners and Sonova colleagues.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing technical team while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience leading Information Security, Cyber Security or Security Governance within a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO27001, GDPR, PCI DSS and security risk management.
  • Experience leading development and data teams delivering business-critical systems.
  • A solid understanding of secure software development lifecycle (Secure SDLC) principles.
  • Experience driving AI, automation or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proven leadership experience, developing high-performing technical teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or ISO27001 Lead Implementer (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
