Role Summary
As the PR and Influencer Manager, EMEA – UK & Growth Markets, your primary goal is to drive the Earned function across priority market United Kingdom (UK), and potentially other territories that could include Sonos’ Growth Markets like the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). You will be responsible for building and executing innovative PR and influencer programs that deliver against Sonos’ Earned objectives—fueling brand trust and relevance, driving cultural impact, and contributing to business growth.
This includes localizing global strategies for maximum cultural resonance, activating world-class product and feature launches (NPIs/NFIs), sustaining ongoing storytelling, and shaping Sonos’ presence in lifestyle, music, and tech culture. You will also be expected to support global initiatives and contribute insights back into the global Earned strategy.
Reporting to the Head of EMEA PR and Influencer, you will act as the key driver of cultural storytelling in your markets—building influence through media, creators, tastemakers, and partnerships. While you will directly lead earned and influencer efforts in the UK, in Growth Markets -if added- you will work closely with distributor partners and their agencies to ensure strategies are aligned, resources are optimized, and execution reflects Sonos’ brand and business objectives.
What You’ll Do
-
Elevate brand heat and cultural relevance through earned-first storytelling, PR campaigns, and influencer/creator activations.
-
Lead the development and execution of an integrated earned and influencer strategy for the UK and potentially other markets, inclusive of:
-
Localizing global initiatives to fit cultural context and audience needs.
-
Launching NPIs/NFIs with impact, adapting global press materials and messaging where needed.
-
Driving local cultural initiatives that support regional marketing priorities.
-
-
Run an efficient always-on press office—including seeding, seasonal/cultural moments, brand storytelling, and business/campaign announcements.
-
Manage influencer and creator programs—from always-on relationship building to campaign-specific collaborations that amplify Sonos in music, culture, and tech spaces.
-
Lead media and influencer events, aligning with global toolkits but tailoring for cultural fit. Oversee logistics (tech setup, spokesperson prep, supplier management, guest list curation, agency support).
-
Potentially: Partner with distributor teams and their PR/influencer agencies in Growth Markets to align on priorities, localize campaigns, and ensure Sonos’ standards for brand storytelling and execution are met.
-
Provide guidance, toolkits, and strategic oversight to distributor partners, enabling them to deliver best-in-class earned activity in their markets.
-
-
Proactively monitor industry and cultural trends in your markets, providing insights and recommendations to refine strategies.
-
Cultivate deep relationships with media, influencers, tastemakers, and cultural partners to maximize earned opportunities.
-
Build the right ecosystem of agencies, vendors, and creators across the region, ensuring resources are best-in-class and fit for purpose.
-
Track, measure, and report impact, working with global/regional teams to demonstrate clear ROI and learnings from earned initiatives.
You Are

A passionate comms professional who knows how to drive conversation and cultural resonance in today’s fast-evolving earned landscape.
-
A strategic thinker and strong storyteller, with proven experience in public relations, influencer marketing, and cultural communications in both established and emerging markets.
