This role is a hybrid position, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Hilversum or London office locations and should expect to be in office approximately 3 days per week.
Your primary goal is to drive the Earned function with distributors across key Growth Markets, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Czech Republic and Romania (Eastern Europe). You will be responsible for building and executing innovative PR and influencer programs that deliver against Sonos’ Earned objectives—fueling brand trust and relevance, driving cultural impact, and contributing to business growth. This includes localizing global strategies for maximum cultural resonance, activating world‑class product and feature launches (NPIs / NFIs), sustaining ongoing storytelling, and shaping Sonos’ presence in lifestyle, music, and tech culture.
You will also be expected to support global initiatives and contribute insights back into the global Earned strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager, PR and Influencer, EMEA, you will act as the key driver of cultural storytelling in your markets—building influence through media, creators, tastemakers, and partnerships.
Internal collaborating functions include Global Earned, EMEA Earned, EMEA Marketing and Commercial leadership, and cross‑functional teams including Consumer Marketing, Owned, Retail Marketing. Externally, you will work closely with distributor partners and their agencies to ensure strategies are aligned, resources are optimized, and execution reflects Sonos’ brand and business objectives.
What You’ll Do In Partnership With Distributors
- Elevate brand heat and cultural relevance through earned‑first storytelling, PR campaigns, and influencer / creator activations.
- Develop and execute integrated earned and influencer strategies for the key Growth Markets inclusive of localizing global initiatives to fit cultural context and audience needs.
- Launching NPIs / NFIs with impact, adapting global press materials and messaging where needed.
- Driving local cultural initiatives that support regional marketing priorities.
- Run an efficient always‑on press office—including seeding, seasonal / cultural moments, brand storytelling, and business / campaign announcements.
- Partner with EMEA Growth Market Marketing manager on the regional PR and influencer budget.
- Manage organic and paid influencer and creator programs—from always‑on relationship building to campaign‑specific collaborations that amplify Sonos in music, culture, and tech spaces.
- Lead media and influencer events, aligning with global toolkits but tailoring for cultural fit.
- Oversee logistics (tech setup, spokesperson prep, supplier management, guest list curation, agency support).
- Provide guidance, toolkits, and strategic oversight to distributor partners, enabling them to deliver best‑in‑class earned activity in their markets.
- Proactively monitor industry and cultural trends in your markets, providing insights and recommendations to refine strategies.
- Cultivate deep relationships with media, influencers, tastemakers, and cultural partners to maximize earned opportunities.
- Build the right ecosystem of agencies, vendors, and creators across the region, ensuring resources are best‑in‑class and fit for purpose.
- Track, measure, and report impact, working with global / regional teams to demonstrate clear ROI and learnings from earned initiatives.

- A strategic thinker and strong storyteller, with proven experience in public relations, influencer marketing, and cultural communications in both established and emerging markets.

- Adept at balancing strategic planning with hands‑on execution.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years PR experience, ideally at an international company / client / agency, in the consumer electronics, lifestyle or entertainment industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build relationships cross‑functionally and across different time zones.
- Ability to balance critical thinking with tactical execution.
- Excellent writing and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working both in‑house and at an agency.
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of the local media, cultural and influencer landscape.
- Proficient in: Google Suite of services (sheets / drive / slides, etc) and Microsoft Office.
