Job Description We are seeking a Civil/Structural Inspector with experience in inspecting oil and gas processing facilities. The role is open to be based in either Aberdeen, St Fergus or Mossmorran. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural inspections, comply with specifications, standards, and safety regulations for 2 onshore gas processing facilities and one marine jetty. The job will require travel between the facilities, although the base location is optional. Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Compliance: Carry out general visual inspection of Civil & Structural elements against Shell Performance Standards and Anomaly Criteria – Topside / Surface Structures – Foundation Structures – Mooring Systems – Structural Elements Providing Fire & Explosion Protection – Passive Fire Protection – Drainage Systems – Maintenance and Integrity of Structural Elements – Anomaly Criteria Reporting: Compile inspection reports recording defects against each performance standard and the anomaly criteria. Reports to be uploaded to IMS and CAIRs / Notifications raised for each defect. Ad hoc requests for additional inspections will also be required as requested by the Shell Structural Team.
