The PEI (Pressure Equipment Inspection) Engineer – Client Representative provides technical oversight and assurance for pressure equipment inspection activities performed by third-party contractors. The role ensures compliance with client standards, regulatory requirements, and integrity management objectives, acting as the client's technical authority for inspection-related decisions. This role is based at the St. Fergus Gas Plant.

Responsibilities:

  • RBI focal team leader and primary point of contact for RBI-related activities.
  • Review WSE (Written Scheme of Examination) before final approval.
  • Review and approve ECH (Examination Condition History).
  • Review and approve EAR (Examination Analysis Report).
  • Review CAIR's (Corrective Action Inspection Recommendation) and provide technical assessment with recommended corrective actions.
  • Oversee FSR (Field Service Report) eMOC/Deviation inspection actions.
  • Support Fit4 initiatives and continuous improvement actions.
  • Provide technical support for projects and TAR (Turnaround) activities.
  • Participate in LOD1 audits and internal audits (supporting UKAS accreditation).
  • Participate in third-party company audits.
  • Conduct VSL (Visual Site Leadership) tours to ensure compliance and integrity.
  • Perform technical review of CTRs (Cost Time Resource estimates) for inspection-related work.
  • Ensure adherence to client standards, regulatory requirements, and inspection best practices.
