Sonomatic is looking to recruit experienced Multi-Discipline NDT Technicians to join our growing team supporting our inspection contract at Exxon Mobil Fawley Refinery.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading inspection and integrity company, working on a wide variety of inspection scopes across a major petrochemical site, with long-term career development and training opportunities.
As a Multi-Discipline NDT Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of non-destructive testing activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.
Your responsibilities will include
- Carrying out multi-discipline NDT inspections in accordance with approved procedures and client requirements.
- Preparing, checking and maintaining inspection equipment and documentation.
- Interpreting inspection results and producing accurate technical reports.
- Working safely in accordance with Company and client HSE procedures.
- Building positive relationships with clients and supporting the successful delivery of inspection scopes.
- Supporting the development of trainee technicians and contributing to a strong technical team culture.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should hold a combination of the following
- ISO 9712 certification in three or more NDT disciplines including UT 3.1 3.2, MPI/DPI.
- Current CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport (preferred but Sonomatic will arrange where not held).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and technical excellence.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional NDT certifications and refinery or petrochemical experience would be advantageous.
