Sonomatic are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Plant Inspector to join our busy and dynamic team based at St Fergus Gas Plant. This is a full-time role on a 1-year fixed term contract, with the view to convert that to an employee contract after 6 months. The role is based on-site at St Fergus, working 5 days per week.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key part in maintaining the safety, integrity, and reliability of critical plant assets within a highly regulated environment.
The successful candidate's primary functions will include:
- Provide a service that always protects the integrity and safety of client and Sonomatic’s personnel, assets and plants and ensuring full compliance of all requirements under PSSR and COMAH regulations.
- Successfully manage and coordinate work scopes in line with the above regulations ensuring safety is the standard to which everything else follows.
- Take ownership of problems and challenges and actively engage the correct personnel until a solution is found ensuring the key personnel are always fully updated with progress.
