Sonomatic RAIS are looking to recruit a PCN LII Radiographer to join our onshore team based in our Grangemouth Base. Main duties of the role will be to deliver Radiographic Services in accordance with Company Procedures and Radiographic Local Rules. Work will be required both within our purpose-built Radiography Bays and on client’s sites as and when applicable. Offshore working may also be a possibility should the candidate be interested – This is not mandatory.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of the Radiographic activities, ensuring the safe and effective completion of work on time and to agreed quality standards.
- Perform duties as RPS if suitably qualified.
- Reporting of Radiographic issues to the Manager on a regular and as required basis.
- Liaise with Company appointed RPS’s regards to Local Rules requirements, and company approved procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring all Controlled Areas on site/base comply to the Local Rules and IRR regulations.
- Ensure all Radiographic results are reported correctly with regards to clients and companies’ codes and procedures, and all work is carried out in accordance to Site/Base Local Rules.
- Responsible for making sure all Radiographic equipment is kept in good working order and signed for per shift.
- Working to all RAD specific procedures.
- Maintaining all RAD equipment incl. darkroom in a safe and tidy manner.
- Maintaining all RAD Validations checks.
- Always Following all safety rules, reporting any dangerous situations to the RPS or Supervisor.
- Provide Technical support to peers, trainees and any other assigned persons if required.
- Ensure all documentation is correctly filled out in your capacity and signed by an RPS.
- Ensure all Local Rules are followed, report any faults or deviation.
Position in Organisation
- Reports to Line Manager.
- Close liaison with Supervisors, Managers, and colleagues.
- Close customer contact if working on Client Sites.
Skills/Experience
- Minimum 3 Years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in computer-based technology.
- Experience in report writing.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified to a minimum of PCN LII Radiography and PCN LI BRS.
- PCN LII MPI, DPI Desirable.
- Digital / Computed Radiography experience desirable but not essential.
